We developed a new data model that tracks commercial aircraft production and deliveries. This is different from previous models because we combined production and deliveries. The model focuses on current production aircraft, starting in 2010.
The data model uses first flight as a proxy for production.
A metric we call "Delivery days"; comes from the period between first flight and delivery.
